Share Logistics currently has 3 offices in the United States: Houston, Miami and New Jersey. All the offices are managed by Dutch people.

Share Logistics has a strong presence in the global Energy (e.g., Oil & Gas, Renewables), Chemicals and Maritime (e.g., Ship Spares) industries. Given the important role Texas plays in these industries, the company needs to be present with to provide the best services possible to customers.

What advice can you give Dutch entrepreneurs who want to do business in Texas?

Before starting a business, ask the RVO, NBSO or other Dutch institutions for support. Also ask the members of the NBSO for lessons learned and/or the right contacts. Texas is a big place, and understanding the market as well as all requirements to conduct business (e.g., permits, health & safety, employment, etc.) is key.
