It was fantastic to have our colleagues from Mexico and Miami visit NBSO Texas to explore collaboration opportunities for Dutch businesses and knowledge related to the 2026 Soccer World Cup. Houston and Dallas are hosting cities (Dallas will even host one of the semi-finals!), as is Miami in Florida, and are Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey in Mexico.
In Houston, we were introduced to the plan for a Goal Park, learned about the potential integration of the Skills Garden from the Dutch company Athletic Skills Model (ASM), and engaged with sports officials, advocates, and sports artists. Of course, we also attended a Houston Dynamo match!
