Our NBSO representatives Bee Kothuis and Maria Alamo were honored to be part of the Texas EU – Texas Economic Leadership Forum in Houston, presented by the European American Chamber of Commerce Texas in cooperation with the Greater Houston Partnership.
Several EU trade council members discussed and visited producer headquarters and facilities to learn more about their work on the green energy transition. Visits to the Port of Houston and NASA’s Johnson Space Center, among other institutions, provided great examples. Meetings at the Baker Institute at Rice University and the Greater Houston Partnership led to valuable deliberation on transatlantic economic policy and trade.
The Dutch input to the delegation was also represented by Ruth Schipper, Deputy Head, Economic Division, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Washington, and Esther Veltman, representative of Houthoff in Houston.
