Since 2007, 2THINKNOW publishes the Innovation Cities™ Index, which ranks more than 500 cities around the world.
On this year 2021, four Texan metropolitan areas are among the top innovative cities 2021, with Dallas-Forth Wort(6) and Houston (8) in the top 10, compared with cities like Tokyo, Boston, New York, Sidney and Singapore. In the same line, Austin (21) and San Antonio (48) stand out in the top 50.
The study develop a quantitative method, based on 162 indicators (including consideration of 1000+ data point inputs) per city, related to Cultural Assets, Human Infrastructure, and Networked Markets.
