The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is one the most important energy events around the world and takes part in Houston, Texas. After 2 years of pandemic, many Dutch companies were excited to participate in the Netherlands pavilion organized by the Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Offshore Energy Industry, IRO.
The NBSO Texas and the Consulate of Miami organized a breakfast session with the most relevant partners in the energy transition industry in Houston. Several executives’ shared useful insights and discussed collaboration opportunities between Houston and Rotterdam.
Hosted in Greentown Labs, the session included the presentations and a panel with Nico Van Dooren, Port of Rotterdam; Richard Byrne, Port of Houston; Troy E. Hopper, Arcadis; Brett Perlman, Center for Houston’s Future; and Scott Gale, Haliburton Labs.
The dialogue was opened by Bart van Bolhuis, representative from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the US and moderated by Jose Beceiro, Senior Director Energy 2.0 from Greater Houston Partnership.
The breakfast was followed by the OTC inauguration of the IRO Netherlands energy Transition Lounge at NRG Park, and a special reception at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, hosted by IRO.
