Stef van de Vijver

My name is Stef van de Vijver, and starting November 1st, I’ll be joining the NBSO team in Houston as Economic Officer. Texas is already a region full of opportunities for innovative Dutch Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and these opportunities are only growing. I’m very excited to work with my colleagues to further strengthen the business ties between Texas and the Netherlands.

Initially, my focus will be on expanding our business-to-business network and, together with my colleague Bee, ensuring the follow-up of the recent royal visit to the Lone Star State. In the coming period, I’ll also be focusing on solidifying opportunities for SMEs in sectors like Life Sciences & Health and Sports.

A little bit about myself: I’m 30 years old, grew up in the Southeast Brabant region in The Netherlands, love strength training, have a background in strategic consultancy and business development for SMEs, am a proud PSV supporter, and a huge fan of the United States.
