Offshore Technology Conference Houston

Texas leads in energy innovation, with Houston striving to position itself as the Energy Capital of the World 2.0. NBSO Texas observed this focus at OTC, particularly during the conference sessions. At the expo, a diverse array of Dutch companies welcomed customers at their booths and in the inviting Dutch Energy Transition Pavilion.

In collaboration with IRO and the Netherlands Consulate in Miami, NBSO Texas hosted over 150 Dutch attendees at a large-scale networking reception. It offered an excellent opportunity for all participants to strengthen existing connections and establish new partnerships. Presentations by Consul General Lisette den Breems and IRO President Mark Heine emphasized the pivotal role of this sector in the Dutch economy.

The next morning, we participated in a substantial, content-driven networking breakfast organized by Holland House Mexico. The presentations at the event left no doubt about the proximity of energy-business opportunities for the Dutch in the neighboring regions of Mexico.

The significant Dutch representation at OTC extended to networking gatherings across Houston. We were privileged to be invited at events hosted by Bluewater /Van Oord, Boskalis, Hatenboer Water, and Bayard Helidecks, grateful for the valuable opportunities to engage with the dynamic offshore technology community.
